The mission of Emerge Contemporary Art is to create and sustain a vibrant, inclusive, highly visible arts organization that supports emerging artists and provides a wide variety of engaging, educational, high-quality exhibits, events, and performances while enriching the cultural landscape with inspiring experiences beyond intrinsic value.
The core of the work at Emerge is to encourage and promote emerging new talent in the arts, music, and visual arts who will create a legacy of impactful change. Emerge offers artists greater development of their artistic potential; through art career mentorships, support, business education, and educational workshops designed for emerging artists to foster successful and sustainable careers in the arts.

Gregory Dubuisson, also known as Yazbthegreat, is an award-winning fashion designer, painter, musician, and owner of Urban Pigeons. Urban Pigeons is both a high-end and urban streetwear brand known for providing tailored services to well-known celebrities such as Wyclef Jean, Cappadonna of the Wu-Tang Clan, Kanis, and more. Founded in 2012 by Yazbthegreat, Urban Pigeons was created as the purpose-driven intersection of music, culture, and creativity.
The name “Urban Pigeons'' represents an artistic concept of inclusion, individual creativity, and self-expression within a collective. Revolutionizing the face of modern streetwear, Urban Pigeons has been featured in over 40+ shows, showcased in New York Fashion Week, Thailand Fashion Week, and numerous events around the Northeast. Throughout his career, Yazbthegreat has won a nominated award for Best Male Fashion Designer, created many custom pieces, and partnered with local companies and non-profit organizations. He has also developed his creativity through acrylic paintings and music.
Each Urban Pigeons garment is one-of-a-kind, features vivid and flamboyant colors, and derives inspiration from traditional and cultural patterns from Haiti, Guadeloupe, and Asia. Yazbthegreat takes strong influence from his own upbringing in Haiti, focusing on the use of vibrant colors for self-expression. With these garments, you can wear your emotions and feel empowered to choose a brighter mood. Taking inspiration everywhere from a simple shadow or color to a cultural experience, Yazbthegreat’s design process is intuitive, with the final products encouraging the wearer to follow their intuitions. Yazbthegreat seeks to create a subset of streetwear that is 100% unique, creating pieces that will not be found on anyone else.
Through proof of concept, dedication to the craft, and unwavering commitment to changing the face of high-end urban streetwear; Yazbthegreat’s purpose-driven vision has come to fruition. “Urban Pigeons is a way of life.
